COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY

Meet Lucy

Lucy Lowe is an Integrative and Humanistic Counsellor and Psychotherapist. She has worked in the psychotherapy field since 1997, completed her training in 2001 and has run a successful private practice offering individual therapy to adults since 2004.

Lucy is a relational and embodied therapist and is interested in the self as a whole system, integrated within the wider environment. She has extensive knowledge and training in theories from pyschotherapy, neuroscience, the nervous system, relational fields and nutrition, and she combines these with her knowledge of the self to create a hollistic and systematic approach. Lucy loves her work and meets people were they are in an accepting and creative way. Working with Lucy can be deep and emotional, lighthearted and fun. All responses to life are welcomed and valued.

About Lucy

Lucy works in private practice with individuals as well as with several large organisations, providing support and education to employees, managers and leaders in public, private and voluntary sectors.

Since 2013, she has worked within the Education and Social Care sector at Gloucestershire County Council supporting and developing Headteachers, Heads of Service and Directors, and this specific work gave rise to the Reflective Practice sessions which she now offers alongside her therapy practice.

Lucy lives in Stocksbridge, Sheffield with her partner and three dogs. She offers in-person sessions at her therapy practice in Stocksbridge, outdoor walking sessions in the beautiful local woodlands and video or telephone sessions in a quiet, confidential space. She enjoys being able to work with individuals throughout the UK, regardless of location.
