Reflective Practice for Business Leaders
A hybrid between Counselling and Coaching, Reflective Practice for Leaders sessions have arisen over many years of working as a therapist within organisational settings. The sessions provide a dedicated space for managers and leaders to reflect, take stock and tune into their whole selves, as professionals and people. The sessions are aimed at those who have achieved highly in their career and are functioning well and effectively, but who have little support around them whilst providing support to a team. Leaders are often operating in a state of burnout which has become normalised, and these sessions are designed to highlight where there may be blind spots to self-care, efficiency and access to internal and external support systems
The sessions are about two professionals coming together from different backgrounds and skill sets, both with experience and knowledge to contribute. The focus is you – your life, your work, your health, your well-being - what gets you down, what lifts you up. The sessions can be deep and emotional, light-hearted and fun. Each session is confidential, bespoke and unique, following what is needed which allows the work to flow creatively.
Session Details
The sessions are gentle, kind, challenging and educational. A solid, safe, confidential working relationship is created which allows individuals to offload and reflect on day-to-day events both inside and outside of work. Using theories and knowledge from the realms of psychotherapy, neuroscience, the body’s nervous system, nutrition, and past patterns and experiences, the sessions will enable a pathway forward, removing blocks that may be preventing healthy change. We will discover what is working well and can be used to better effect, something that may have been forgotten or lost.
I have many years of experience in delivering these sessions to employees in senior roles. I use therapeutic skills combined with scientific knowledge of the brain and body to educate individuals and support growth. I am also able to offer guidance and support to employees who identify themselves as neurodiverse.
The sessions are one hour in length, are held fortnightly, or monthly.
I can offer these sessions remotely or face-to-face.
£900 for 10 sessions spread over one year
£100 per session of one hour (one-off or additional sessions)
